About the Role

ProDims is seeking qualified construction contract administrators to join our team and support projects for clients such as Sound Transit, Port of Seattle, King County and WSDOT. In this role, you will perform technical and routine duties involved in the preparation, administration, finalization, analysis, and management of construction, architect-engineering, and other contracts for our clients' projects. Responsibilities include managing bids, negotiating rates, drafting and administering contracts, maintaining records, developing, reviewing and editing boilerplate documents for inaccuracies, inconsistencies and compliance with regulations. You may also research and cite regulatory references and write new boilerplate language to meet evolving procurement needs. Ideal candidates will have experience administering public construction contracts under general direction along with strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Technical School certification in business, accounting, contract management, construction or related field

  • 3+ years experience in purchasing, contract services or equivalent education/experience

  • Knowledge of A&E, construction, goods/services industry practices and purchasing/contract administration principles

  • Experience with purchasing, accounting, cost/price analysis, negotiations

  • Knowledge of pertinent laws, codes, regulations

  • Project management, report writing, record keeping skills

  • Proficiency with computers, word processing, spreadsheets, databases

  • Strong written communication and customer service skills
